The Hashtag plugin works just like the hashtags on Twitter.

Words hashtagged by editors are linkified, which when pressed automatically redirect the user to the search page of that word on the site (just like on Twitter).

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
